Unhappy Aw crap D:<

I hit a buick yesterday! D:

while I was backing out of an apartment some hell a$$ pulled up and almost locked me in... he was parked behind me and there wasn't even a parking space there, it was over a friggin speedbump!

Anyway, "i had just enough room to turn the wheel and get out" I said... yup, I got out... but I clipped the Buick BESIDE me It left a soccer-ball sized dent under my front drivers' side headlight (luckily, the headlight housing didn't crack) ... I was able to push the fiberglass back out, but the paint is pretty screwed up there now... it lost the glossy sheen and some of the paint scraped off there's also some discoloring and stuff... The Buick was fine, it was an early 90's model with that rubber-coated steel bumper... not even a scratch on it (other than that thousands of others from maltreatment) ...

Anyway, the guy that locked me in saw and didn't do a dang thing. He didn't speak english, either, so I couldn't tell him to put up his fists and get ready for a hardcore beatdown. As a matter of fact, as soon as he saw, he got into his car and sped off while I was assessing the damage to my G

Anyway, I'm here now, hoping someone has a Desert Diamond colored front bumper for an '03/'04 Sedan (OEM or Aftermarket) ... I can't accumulate 500 posts or whatever as fast as I want to repair this thing (especially since I'm pretty noob with cars), but I'd love some help If anybody can assist me in finding one/selling me one, that'd be great... Or if someone in Arizona has a body shop that can repaint the front bumper for some cash, that'd be awesome...

- Cheers

i figured cus i hit a van going 35 inreverse when i was 16 in my sentra and i almost end the life of my sentra and nothing happen to the van

and then my moms crashed her 04 burban into a tree due to black ice at 15 mph and the freaking thing was totaled

now i got a 1990 chevy truck and i now that hunk of metal will take much more abuse than that sentra or burban

that sucks man, I had an old 95 buick regal (hand-me-down from my brother bought for REAL cheap) before my g some lady in a Saturn SUV decided it would be a good idea to go across 2 lanes into me....the end result was that my front bumper was demolished...but it still drove at least used to call that car the green tank... best of luck man

got a quote from a shop in town that does cars (no, it's not maaco) guy quoted me $250-$300 to take the bumper off, sand down the chips, prime, paint, sand, paint, polish, sand, polish, buff, clear, buff... he's gonna do the whole bumper since it's hard as hell to blend metallics... I think I'll take him up on that offer... any other ideas?

Ask to see other work he has done on Metallic paints where he had painted just one or two body panels/parts. Also ask what materials he is using, there are some quality stuff and some really crappy stuff out there. Some of the ones I liked using when painting were Sikkens,Utech and PPG for Base color and Southern Polyurethane's Clear <<< Only clear I would use for my cars, deffinately the best to date for me.
