Yeah in your glove compartment there is a switch (learned this today) why do you want to do it?

Because since I have my JL sub and my Alpine amp, I'd rather protect it a bit more (and lock the glove compartment in the process

Where is the in-cabin switch? I found the shutoff, but never found the cabin switch.

Dang! I thought I was either nuts or regressing. There is not cabin switch for the trunk. There's a lock-out in the 2nd glove compartment, but no swithc. I've got an '03 and here's what I figured out. As long as the passenger compartment is unlocked, you can just press the switch under the trunk's outside handle and open it that way. So is there an inside button on the premium '03 or is this the way they all are?

The 03 has the outside trunk button, but no inside button release. The outside button was discontinued in what is referred to as the 2003.5 where the trunk 'doggy door' disappeared and the inside button was added.

It would go where that blank spot is on yours between the VDC Off button and the in-cabin lighting dimmer. If you really want it, I believe there are aftermarket kits to add the in-cabin trunk release to original '03's, as well as the passenger-side 12v power outlet.

I found the button.. I feel much better about having it off. They are still installing my alarm (The installer says the G35 is a bitch to install an alarm for) but I'd rather they take their time then to rush it.

The switch inside the second glove box is for when you valet park. The valet key will not open the second glove box. This way, a valet key will have no access to the trunk. This was Infiniti's purpose for putting the disable switch inside the second glove box.
