I hope you are talkinga bout the clear bra, and not a vinyl/leather-ish one... I have never seen a solid bra on a G before, and my experience with them is body shop related. So I have a very bad view on them... they are horrible for your paint and dont look good either.

The clear bra seems to be a hit with lots of the guys on this forum... It is almost unnoticable, and can provide good protection against rock chips for your bumper, headlights, and hood.

I have a clear bra from AeroTect and love it, all black front end and no chips at all (except for the dealer screwing the stupid front plate on )

i've used the colgan bra's before and as long as you dont let anything get under them btw your paint/car you should be ok.

Thanks! I drive 120 miles to and from work every day on back roads in the foothills and the rocks and bugs are pretty bad. Ive been thinking about the colgan. I just do not think the clear bra will offer as much protection as a padded bra

You are wrong. My clear bra had saved me various times from pebbles either kick up by cars or thrown out from trucks. My front end still looks new even after 4.5 years of driving. You can wax and wash the car within all the hassle from the leather bra.
The best thing is that the clear bra also covers headlights and mirrors.
Aerotect does a good job if you're in so. cal.

Alot of tint shops are getting into installing the Clear Bra. They are available in pre cut kits. I had a 3M clear bra on my Subaru and even after a car went off the track in front of me and kicked up all kinds of rocks and debri I had no scratches or chips on the vehicle. Clear Bra FTMFW!!!
