So I am in need of a front strut for my 05 G35X. I have searched and have had no luck finding a replacement other than the dealer. Does anyone know of any aftermarket front struts for this vehicle? Thanks in advance for the help. I would take it in for warranty work but the top of the strut rod where the nut goes on is really beat up from when I coudn't get the nut off when I lowered the car. I just re-installed the stock springs and noticed the one strut is completely blown. I only un-lowered the vehicle because I am mounting my winter tires this weekend and do not have the money for the proper camber kits, so this way I can prevent early wear on my tires until I can get the appropriate supporting mods. Besides I would rather the car be higher up when it snows. Thanks again for any help.

 

Good luck with that, unless you can find a used pair like I did after 2 months of searching or pay the full price at the dealer. What is the dealer quoting you for the front pair??
