is there anything else i should be looking for? any info would be very appreciated

with 60k i would be asking about what maintience has been done... this is about the time most people replace spark plugs too... i got a g35 because its a great car after warranty... if you can get all the 60k maintience done i dont see how you can go wrong.
just add on what it will cost to do all the major maintience that this car needs at 60k and you will see the real cost to buy that car... but it will still be a great price IMO.

Have it carefully inspected by a trusted mechanic... might cost you $50, but well worth it. Carfax has been oversold and over-rated as an "insurance policy" that has limited reliability. The body markings you describe suggest to me that the owner was not a careful one.... people who own G's and let the body go to this level are generally not good at taking care of their cars and may beat them pretty hard. For example, look at the wear on the break pedal-- if pretty heavy, it signals hard use oftentimes. It should be light still at 60K, even in city driving. There are numerous other ways your mechanic can tell. Finally, I tend to interview the owner lightly" "So, tell me, how fast is she? Can she beat a Mustang... how about a Mazda 6?" the owner will think you're into racing a little and if he/she brags about the power, you'll instantly know the way it was driven. I always talk to the owner and ask what seem to be a series of about 10-15 harmless, yet very revealing questions. Then you decide.
By the way, kmckis 1029 above is right- the cost will come down about $1K or more.

Absolutely.... do it! The dealer will say they can't give the name out so ask the dealer to contact the owner for permission. If the owner says yes, you'll get the real story on the car. If the dealer refuses to try, it would be a red flag to me.
By the way, you're seeing our good side now, some days there's so much slapping and mudslinging going on, you can't separate the personalities from the issues.
Enjoy the forum and welcome!!!
