Hence the reason why we LEASE the loaners, and loaners are not eligible for certification. We do maintain the loaners, but we cannot be held responsible for people abusing them...
Loaners usually will end up at public auction and eventually at other dealerships (like CarMax).

I had a fleet vehicle once (actually a company car). It was a Lexus ES300. Had lots of miles on it and previous damage not shown on Carfax (i.e. repainted A-pillar panels indicated by the orange peel on the paint). Some other unusual problems came up on the car down the road like a faulty charcoal canister and screwed-up solenoid on the transmission (leading to a rebuilt tranny out of my pocket) Ended up totaling the vehicle, and insurance cut me a check for more than the car's worth on KBB or NADA, enough to purchase the G35.
So it was all a happy ending, but never again will I ever think about buying a fleet or leased vehicle. Complete nightmare!

I dunno, chances are if i get a loaner it will be nicer than my car so i'll be too afraid to mess with it.
My '06 was a lease i purchased. Now you guys made me nervous, but i went through it like crazy and the car looked clean as a whistle when i bought it. Runs fine. SOme older man owned it anyway. I doubt a 60-year old was trying to whip donuts with it in the first snowstorm each winter

just returned the car and when asked about the damages, the service manager told me that the paint scuff marks are due to inexperience older drivers that failed to comprehend the power of the car. I can only imagine "mature" driver using loaner cars as a daily bumper car..
On the side note, i really like the interior of the 08, especially the 'super white' ambient light.. have anyone tried to replicate the ambient light in our 03-06 g35's?
