In other words...

The most affordable way to repair this is to get s-tech's right? But since I don't have the sport shocks, shouldn't I might as well get stiffer and shorter shocks like the Tokico HP's so that my stocks shocks don't blow out with the s-techs??

Here's a DIY Mike

As far as it affecting the ride, that depends on how much cutting you do (less cushion.....).

OP...Alot of cars don't sit at the same height from right to left in the rear and it becomes more appearant when you lower it. Those of us that run coilovers can adjust for those differences. I don't think getting S-techs is a "solution" because you may have the same result. Lowering on just springs always puts more pressure on the OEM parts so pre-mature wear is something to consider and expect. Sooner or later you will need to get new shocks...why not get it all upfront (coilovers)

Exactly why my coils are on the way, I'm tired of my rear being too high (and the fact that I blew out a rear D-Spec shock from hitting a large uneven dip over railroad tracks going pretty fast - ouch!)

+1000, I better not have messed up anything else (crossing my fingers). I saw oil on my shock when I got my new tires put on last week. Its been a couple of months since I blew it, hopefully nothing else is wrong. I guess I'll find out when I get my suspension checked out when I do an alignement. We'll see how low I go the front will come down a bit, the back needs to come down a lot.

I don't see how it would/wouldn't work on the sedan/coupe. They share the same design.
