Re: 5% over invoice?

marvinclt,

Thanks. I'm not sure if it's a collusion thing, but the internet sales manager I dealt with wasn't quite as much of a manager as other ISMs I've dealt with at Ford and Jeep. He didn't have the authority to make any deals and had to consult with the manager a few times when there were a few hiccups in the sales process.

He also said that the whole internet thing was pretty new for West Houston Infiniti, so in the future, they might get more agressive on the pricing. But as you said, there are only four dealerships with a 150 mile radius, so the options are limited.

But I'm extremely happy with the vehicle and will spend time enjoying it rather than on a few dollars I could have saved.

The 0.9% also makes quite a bit of a difference...adding about $485 in interest to the total cost. So that took some of the edge off.

Where should I start on getting information on the Intake & Filter and Z-Tube combo?

Re: 5% over invoice?

I'd recommend doing a search on the Intake or look in the Tech forum....there are plenty of discussions on which one is better or perferred. I personally when with the Z-Tube (they call it the z-tube because its the intake tube on the 350Z) and the Stillen CAI (Cold Air Intake). Both of these will run you about 300-350. It may sound like a lot, but it is something you will really love. If your not in a hurry, you can regularly visit the parts/accessories forum and see if anyone is selling theirs, but then again, it would be used. In addition to nice roar you get when your're about 3-4k rmp and the slight increase performance is the better fuel milage. After I installed mine, I went from 17 to 19 mpg. Oh, and all of this can be done on your own in about 1-2 hours depending on your mechanical skills....I did this myself and I'm mechanically challenged!!!

GL...let me know if you need any help.

Re: 5% over invoice?

I live in Canada near Toronto. It is ilegal to sell a new car for more than the MSRP in Canada. The only way to sell a car over list is to register the vehicle then sell as a used car. I got my fully loaded G35 manual less nav for 5% under list. I was going to get an RX8, however, 6 month wait at the time, price was list less $250.00. Good luck!

In Atlanta, I've been offered $150 over invoice with a $500 doc fee, but no destination. I'm waiting. 5 dealerships competing though.
