Will homelink fit in my G?

My G is a base model so no home link rearview mirror.

I really want one and was thinking about picking one up on ebay, but is it direct plug and play or what?

I'd think it would fit, but if it might be a PITA if there isn't power already running up there.

I recently did a Homelink add-on to my base model G. It was not all that hard. I would say that it is about a one hour job. I posted the info for my install about two weeks back.

Above is for the wire harness.

Leather seats with power is standard on all the '05-06 models. Moon roof is a option.

Cloth seats were used on base model '03 Gs, not sure on the '04.

I can't believe they didn't add something so simple on an Infiniti, my base model maxima came with homelink, prob one of the most convenient options, opposed to attaching an ugly remote to my sun visor...
