2003-2004 Gs - COBB AP tuner help

For now COBB hasn't produced the AP for the early sedan 03-04. I'm trying to show them the interest is there so that we (early sedans) end up having some tuning options.

http://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums/...t=40364&page=3

this is a direct link to the thread on cobbs website. Please add your name to the list of interest if you have a 2003 or 2004 sedan.

thanks.

i thought cobb dropped support for the g35/350z due to lack of overall interest.

they will still sell the units but no furthe support will be made.

Not true.

Joe Graham is the developer for Nissan. He's currently working on the 07-08. Support for the 2003-2004 is entirely dependant upon interest in it.

That is why I want people to put their name on it

Other mods - please leave this thread here for now as it is specific to the very first gen sedans only.

Thanks
Tim

What would be the cost (ballpark)? What would be the gains?

I know Cobb does good stuff with turbo motors but I understand that Nissan left very little on the table with the tuning on these engines.

I don't think any tuners ever cracked the ECU on the 03/04's. Could be wrong tho.

I was interested in the Cobb but when they updated their website saying that there was no support for the '03 models I stopped looking into it.

Yeeeaaaahhhhh, bought a Cobb Accessport for my 2005 G35x and after numerous downloads, updates, I.m's, multiple attempts at reflashing I now have only the stage 2 flash. Not the stage 2+ flash I was expecting to get with the money I paid. They said there was a problem with the firmware and were working on it. No update yet. Not happy to say the least. Plug and play, I don't think so.
