First car...say it loud, say it proud!

Hmm first car was a 2001 Ford Mustang V6, I got it as a hand-me down. I was a little old when I started driving, since most of the time I'm into public transportation back in the Philippines. When I moved here at the States, I started using the Mustang. It was a great ride, although the amount of torque coming out of it's rear made it into a slippery coffin during winter season.
My next car was a 2002 Subaru WRX Impreza, and I drove that thing for 3 wonderful years. It's not the most comfortable ride, but that was a lot of fun! And this was the car that taught me how to drive stick, making her a very memorable ride for me.
Sadly, the rising maintenance cost convinced me to get rid of her, plus some a**hole in our parking lot dented her rear panel last winter. One of the saddest days in my life really.
Now I have the 2006 G35x, and everything is peachy again hehe. :P

I had that same motor in my very first car, a 1965 Ford Custom 500.
I bought it for $450 knowing that it burned a quart in a hundred miles - drove it straight into the high school auto repair shop the next day. The teacher let me do a
complete rebuild of the engine in class in lieu of the normal Grade 12 curriculum. It cost me $50 for rings and gaskets and I had a new motor and an "A+" in Auto Repair!
