That sweet.... This might be a slow question but what is the off set on a rim for instance +32 and how do u fig that out

 

Thats hard to explain man, basically how far the rim sits in and out, if it has a higher offset it will sit further out.. like poke out, the smaller the offset is the more inside it will go.. so for an aggressive look go with a 30+ offset.

It's actually the opposite. The offset of a wheel is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to the true center-line of the rim. A positive offset means the mounting surface of the wheel is positioned in front of the true center-line of the rim (this in effect brings the tire in to the fender well more). A negative offset means the mounting surface of the wheel is behind the true center-line of the rim (this will cause the tire to stick out away from the vehicle)

hey i found these and was wondering if theyre worth it? I have a 2006 g35x and was gonna go with tein h techs but then i found these and they raised my curiousity. Ive been looking through this thread all day. I have 19" 5zigen 5zr wheels and am looking to close the wheel gap but still maintain as much of a comfortable ride quality as possible as this is my daily and i drive about an hour to work. I intend on purchasing aftermarket shocks, Tokico HPs or D-specs, again w/e will provide me with the most comfortable ride to stock as possible. I know this has been beaten down over and over and over but im just seeking some advice from those with experience.

 

Never heard of these type of springs. The look real aggressive though, since they're on a coupe you'd be lower; and I'm not sure how well the x would cope with these on jersey roads. Test it out.

 

Lol yea these jersey roads are exactly y I'm being extra cautious with what I buy. I don't want super aggressive I just want low enough lol if they makes any sense. I'm not willing to compromise my ride comfort to such an extent just for looks so ill pass these up but thanks for your help. I'm real interested in the Z/G setup as I believe IMO anyways that using 350z struts/shocks and the z/g springs will allow me to maintain that nice luxury comfort will improving stance. Thanks again for the input

 

quick question I'm new to g35s, will 350z aftermarket lowering springs fit a 03 g35 sedan?

 

Yes but they will lower the sedan a full inch more than they do on the Z. Take that into account if you're looking at some.

 

I have a X and i also live in NJ. I know the rodes could be a little banged up in some areas but, it is not that bad. Why not just save up and get some BC coils? You will be able to get the ride height you are looking for. I don't know if you have lowered the X before, but be ready to go through multiple CV boots.
