Yep I did it! Lol. I made the mistake of buying spring instead of coils. Didn't like the drop so I cut my springs. . But I did by some stance coil overs that I will be putting over the winter.)

I'm running the G/Z set up with my stock non-sport struts, and I haven't experienced any hops or bounces. Hope that helps...

I'm just a little worried because its a 2.5 inch drop with stock struts. Will the z struts fit and how will that ride. (Dropping on a budget SUCKS)

I know your budget is pretty tight, but I think it's better for you to invest your money on some Z struts, especially if your sedan is the non-sport edition. That big of a drop will blow out your stock shocks pretty fast...

Thanks for the info.. Now this might sound like a dumb *** question. But how do I tell if its a sport or not. Mine is a 04 sedan auto 5 speed with triptronic. Also the guy I'm buying the springs told me that the struts won't match up ( I don't think he knows that for sure)

If your stock shocks are red then you have the sport edition, but the Z struts will fit.

KW Variant 2 w/SPC Kit

ModBargains.com hooked me up with an awesome deal on suspension.

I called Frank @ ModBargains and he got me a deal on KW Coilovers Variant 2 with a SPC kit that included front upper arm and rear camber arm and toe eccentrics.

Check out my pics...
