Question for you guys. I have stock non sport struts with sportlines for coupe springs. Here's how she sits now with 18"s



Now the questions, it is sagging I'm not sure if you can see clearly at the picture though but what are my options? I have a set of 350z springs and I was thinking of just putting the rears so it will bump it up a bit, right? Or just look something g lower for the fronts? Any recommendations? I can't afford coils yet. But that's my plan for the end of this year. I was also planning of buying a front n1 lip so I'm leaning towards dropping the front instead. Again, any suggestions for what will drop it more? Also, I'm kind of sunken now and don't know much for spacers but what do you think are the size I'm looking to buy here? Rims are +43 9" for rears and +43 8" for fronts. Looking to get more "flush" look hopefully.

 

Just an fyi, the shocks will wear out quicker as well with the 350z setup. Those shocks are made for a lighter vehicle, so with a heavier load you end up putting more weight on them. Regardless they'll wear out faster, but that's not to say that it's going to be a quick wear out process. Aftermarket shocks are the only way to go to fully prevent premature shock wear.

To be honest, I'm not sure if the Tokico HP's are sufficient enough. They do claim to be stiffer than OEM by I think 30% and I haven't done the numbers but that should probably be okay. I'm sure the better made shocks like the Bilstein and Koni are able to handle the aftermarket springs better. But truly coilovers would be the best, and they must be a quality set. I've had a couple sets which I wasn't impressed with and it really would have been worth the extra few hundred bucks to get a better set.

 

Quick question has anyone used sick speed coilovers and if so how do you like them??

 

Nice ride mane I like that drop! Which one would you say is better for ride comfort: 350z Eibach sportlines or coupe tanabes df210s? Im planning to run them on oem shocks or maybe 350z shocks if I find some cheap. Thanks

 

are you on H&R springs for a sedan?

 

Eibach G35 Coupe springs w/ OEM sedan shocks. Not ideal, but FREE!

Wheels are re-drilled Audi RS6 wheels. 19x8 and 19x9, +30 and +22 (if I remember correctly, lol.)

Hey all, I'm fairly new to the Infiniti scene, have always been a Honda boy. I came across a cheap set of coupe sport struts and I know a guy selling me a set of Z Tein S-techs. What do you all think of that combo and what do you think my ride height would consist of? Thanks in advance!

 

^if you want the drop your looking for i would go with H&R lowering springs drops it -1.2 front -1.3 rear or Eibach Pro Springs drops is -1.5 front -1.8rear.. both about $300.

if you take the time to read through this thread you can find some picture of them on.

jeggo this could help out as well... and if you ad 10 or 15mm spacers would poke it out more. hope this helps.

 

Thanks for the input. The only reason why I was gonna pick up the Teins was because he's giving me them for cheap. And I alresdy purchased the Sport struts.

 

I learned my lesson, z springs with sport sedan shocks and z/g combo I currently have is too high for my taste....in the market for coils now....plus my shocks r giving out at 105k miles shouldve just went with coils from the start

 

I agree. I have full 350z suspension on my sedan and I think it looks and feels good but the gap is still a little much for my taste. The main reason that is holding me back from pulling the trigger on coils is the hassle of jacking up the car every time I need to get under,not to mention potholes, puddles in the rain, and potential bushing problems.

 

^^You gotta pay to play. A lot of us have regretted not buying coils the first time but once you do you can't look back.
