A 2005 G35 6MT found a new home in AZ

Well I just drove my new IP G35 6MT Sport with Navi home from Huntington Beach, CA. After searching for over a month, I found the one for me. She had 50k on her when I picked her up. The car was in pristine condition. And feels like new. Not a single ding.
I used to have a 2006 IS350, but after 3 years my lease was up and I didn't feel like paying 30k more for the car. Plus I was dying to get back into another MT. I have no regrets turning the IS in for the G35. And being that the IS was a lease, I was pretty hesitant to put any mods on it at all. But after reading the Driver forums, I pretty much got the mod bug. First thing though is some Huper Optik tint since I'm here in AZ. I'm not a big fan of 5% tint, and I live in AZ. Huper Optik is the way to go and still have great visibility.

Anyway, glad to join you all.

Here's a couple pics.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Welcome to the best database out there for our cars. Already got the mod bug do you? Get ready, it spirals out of control very quickly!!

Congrats on your new ride, you'll love it more and more every day. It still makes me smile when I slide behind the wheel and start her up.

Nice choice! What color is the interior? I'm guessing not black, because that is a super rare combo

Yeah, they stopped IP/Graphite in 2004. He either has Stone or Wheat. Chances are, he has wheat.

When I bought mine, I searched the entire country for a 2005-2006 6MT Sedan, IP, Stone. At the time, there was only one. So, I flew out to Oakland, bought it, and immediately drove the 10 hours back to Phoenix.

Congrats, man! Just, don't black it out. That way we don't have two in the same area. Hahaha.

Post up pics!!!

And, what part of Arizona are you in?

Thanks! Huper Optik is a ceramic tint. I'm not too much into the dark window tint, but I need to keep the heat out here in AZ with the 100+ weather. I had it on my IS and it's awesome. I think someone else here has it on his Sedan. Here's a link to the Huper Optik site.

I'll be posting some stock pics today. I still need to get all the damn bugs off. The interior is wheat, Jerome was right. It would've been nice with Stone, but I'm happy with wheat as well.

Hey Jerome, since you also got your car in Cali, what did you do about the front license plate holder? I have the two nasty screw holes in the bumper and 2 divits from where the license plate screws are. I'm out in the east valley btw.

I was pretty lucky. The previous owner never installed the front plate, he just kept it in his trunk. He never got hassled about it. Haha.

BAH! Guess I have to find a body shop that will spot repair it. Thanks!

I just checked out your garage Jerome. Your car is pretty sweet. Don't worry, I'm not going to go the "blacked out" look, although it may be pretty tempting I've got to get out there to Goodyear so I can listen to your exhaust.

Oh, and I just updated my garage. I've added quite a bit more information and uploaded some new pics.

Yup. I remember those days. That's pretty much how my car looked when I bought it (Sept. '08). Well, except that the previous owner had it lowered on Eibach Sportlines.

We should get a AZ drive together...

I gotta get my new radiator installed first though. Hopefully it gets here soon.
