Softer ride shocks/struts - nd advice.

I enjoyed my stock sport set up on my 03 sedan for all of these years but driving around the crappy LA roads have put a toll on my shocks/struts and my neck. I do a ton of driving on poorly maintained LA roads now and need something that will help balance out the road irregularities. My driving is also far less aggressive than before so I'll miss my sport set-up rarely.

I know nothing about shocks/struts.

Thanks for your input.

Well you could purchase my non-sport sedan (premium) springs and shocks. Both are softer than your sport. I think I still have them around somewhere. They have about 30-35k on them? IMHO, that's about a soft as you can get.

Probably best to pm me for info. Might not get back to you until next week though. But my stuff isn't going anywhere.

I'm not too sure. The rears are extremely easy. The fronts would need to have the spring/shock seperated and swapped. If that's the case then, $100-$150?

I might have my old spring/shock assembly together. If that's the case, then it's very easy. Probably down to $75-$125. In LA a local would do this for cheaper probably.

It would probably be better to get both non-sport springs and shocks together as they are valved as a set. ie.. softer springs and softer shock rate

a lot of comfort rides on your wheels and tires.

smaller rims, and larger profile tires will yield the best results. 55 series are comfy.

also keep in mind that all season tires will ride better than a performance tire.

I sent you a PM, as I am local to LA and recently had my 2006 suspension swapped.

Also gave a reference for the Soad, who installed my suspension for me.

Good Luck,
Dave

My G is paid off.

Anyway, so people who have a non-sport G should have purchased a Camry?
