This is effing BS...If that's the case I can argue the fact that if I were in a bus certain people with their heads up their a$$ wouldn't see me b/c they drive obliviously...I always wondered why Motor Cycles don't get bothered...that and the skull caps they get away with wearing...it so hypocritical.

illG35...if your mechanic knows how to weld you can grind off your oem heat shields and weld them onto your test pipes...just fill the heat sheilds with tin foild and brillo pad type stuff...unless the cops jack your car up and look with the hubble telescope it will appear that you have cats.

I have a good friend who had a 1999 Eclipse, totally tricked out, beautiful show car. It was fast. They are also very responsible, well, they live in this town called Lompoc, where the cops are very biased. Christmas Eve, they were heading out of town and a woman turned right in front of them, they claim they were doing between 35 and 40, which is the S.L.. in that area, it was totally not their fault and they had witnesses to prove it. (The car was totalled by the way). Well, the police wrote it as it was 80% the fault of my friend. It was insane, everyone that looked at the report after that, lawyers etc, said is was the worst report they had seen. It was because, from what I'm told, those cops hate people that trick out their cars. It's a small town, where everyone knows everyone. It took a year and a half for everything to get cleared up, because of some jerk and his report. It's scary to think that sort of crap is going on, but it is.

After reading that I want to have a cop or trooper on the stand for effing every ***** he picks up, for reckless driving, failure to signal, excessive speed, unsafe lane changes, dealing and doing drugs, etc...this is b/c a lot of cops and troopers do all of that stuff...so all of them must right...IE, all cops/troopers are dirty $hit bags right...What...you say that's not right and I am jumping to conclusions and being biased and closed minded and assumptive, etc...oh wait...just like the officer who wrote up your friend.

Ridonkulous example I know...but I hate when cops forget we pay their salary and pension and that they work for us...the public...I got a 97 on the Trooper Test last time and may have gone to the academy but it was cancelled due to cut backs so I know of what I talk and I can't stand that crap.

We are hijacking your own thread! I work for a Realty World franchise in the east San Francisco bay area. I've seen cops/sheriffs use those bomb detecting mirrors to look for cats.

I guess it's one way to pay for that anti-terrorism equipment.
