Tim, I'm not sure if your calling me out or whatever, but if we were to revive the old 50 page MG trunk thread, it was common knowledge amongst all of us that Tom and I were to pick up the trunk and post pics of fitment first, him on Thursday, and me on Friday.

So I went back and checked. My first refund request was on June 27th. What part of that is "instantaneous"?

I understand where your frustration is coming from, but I certinly don't condone your actions.
I'm upset about both. If Boomer is going to continue to hold my money ransom he could at least offer to give me the trunk he said way back in the beginning that I would get. Now it appears I get nothing for my money. As I have said a number of times, I am to the point where I will take either one. I always wanted the trunk, I SET THIS UP, but when it took so much longer and I ran into money problems I needed my money back. Boomer said he would send it and I relied on that. Well he didn't and I got into trouble because I was waiting on it. That situation cost me another $100 in fees because I was expecing to have that money which never came. So Boomer's lies have now cost me $100 over my deposit and I'm expected to not get mad?!?

Put yourself in my shoes...
How would you feel if you had NOTHING to show for your money and are being promised you would get your money back over and over. Now you get to watch others go and get their trunks while you are being promised a refund again and again with no results.

Tom and Alex -

I'm sorry if you feel I am being unreasonable. I believe the agreement was different from what has happened and the rest of us need your help to make sure we are not taken advantage of because you are local and Boomer won't return our calls or emails most of the time.

You're right we were warned and I kick myself daily about that one...

I was not aware of any infractions given over him warning everyone though?

Let me clarify the meaning behind my comments.

1) I was 1st on the list for a trunk. I agreed to be second so someone local could do a test fit. I never agreed on two local test fit people. Why would I?

2) Local members who were going to visit said they would make sure and discuss the refund situation with Boomer when they were out there and help make sure we got our refunds. Those of us out of state were extremely grateful for the help. When the visits were over everyone was praising Boomer and regardless of the refund situation and just passed on the same BS he has been feeding us for a long time.

Yes, I am very frustrated with how this has gone down.

Right now I will take either a trunk or my money back. I don't care which one, I just want something to show for my money.

If things are good enough with the status of the fitment I will shut up, put my foot in my mouth and take a trunk. It's obvious that I am not getting a refund without going to court.

Thank you very much fellow sedan family members for showing your true colors while many of us are being ignored.

Thank you Mastergrade and owner Boomer for screwing over more people. Good thing you have those who don't care to help keep you in business.
although i wasnt in the group buy .

i said in that previous thread
that we should all stick together as a community

and not take delivery of the merchandise
as well as not forward any more funds to M.G.

until

the refunds were given to those who had asked (tim , other guy)

guess it fell on deaf ears and tim still getting the run around ..

whene people are capable of screwing even a single person over..

they are capable of doing it to everyone and anyone ...

buyers beware ...

NEW hood, where can I find it ?

I was shown this link by one of my good friends for a new G35 coupe carbon fiber hood. I was looking for something different and not as "ricey" as the Seibon TS or VIS Slayer hoods and I found this...

Don't worry Ttrank, everyone who doesn't have some kind of personal MG connection knows that you're getting screwed and are suffering because of it. It is completely inexcusable what MG is doing.

Simple as that. You cannot make a single excuse for them not:
1) Refunding his money (can't people write checks these days?)
2) Sending him a trunk as part of original agreement

This whole thing might never have started without Ttrank's vocal support (which is good and bad). So those of you who want to just go around and buy these trunks while people are getting jerked around have to really question your integrity. (Not calling anyone out specifically, but there's a lot of interest now that it is done and appears decent)

If MG would just do 1 of the two above it would be all strawberry puppy kisses and rainbow sunshine.

Okay maybe not that nice.
