What happened to the MG Trunk Thread???
And where are our refunds this time?
It's great how people who were higher on the list and others who have asked for refunds are being overlooked and ignored.

Nope.
Just more wasted emails and text messages from Boomer promising a refund as he has done for almost 6 weeks now.
I even told him just to send me the trunk he said he would. Obviously that is not going to happen either since it is now on someone else's car...

I would have been happy to go out of my way to help them make as many sales as possible. I have done it for a few other shops now that do good business.
Last night he was all apologetic saying he "F up'd", "am very sorry", etc and for the 5th time said I'll get my refund. Day is over and I have not received $0.01 of my own money back.

I just want my money back. How hard is it to give the refund you have said you will give over and over. If this shop does not have $400 of my money to give back there is a big problem.
I told him over and over that I would take the trunk or my deposit back. I was 1st on the list and agreed to be second so they could give it to a local who was dealing with the test fit. After it took so long and I ran into money problems I said I need my deposit back, he said ok. Fast forward 6 weeks and I am still getting the run around asking for my money back. So the other day I started saying I'll take the trunk that is done (as I was 2nd on the list!) or my money back, either one.
Looks like I don't get either one.

When I went to pick up the trunk, Boomer thought you wanted your money back. He had called paypal, but paypal requires a formal email sent to them for a refund, which he has already sent. Obviously, it is not going to be an instantaneous process with paypal, but usually paypal comes through and you will get your $400 back.
Tim, I'm not sure if your calling me out or whatever, but if we were to revive the old 50 page MG trunk thread, it was common knowledge amongst all of us that Tom and I were to pick up the trunk and post pics of fitment first, him on Thursday, and me on Friday.

I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR MY MONEY BACK FOR 6 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!
This is the same BS Boomer has been giving me for a long time. He told me that Paypal won't do a refund. So we made an arrangement where I sent him information releasing him of all debt if he sent me my refund back as a payment. He agreed and I sent what he wanted. That was weeks ago. Since then he has said he would send it over and over. Still I am sitting here with no money.
As for the agreement. I have it in PM's and emails where Boomer was asking if I would take the 2nd trunk so one person could do a test-fit, not the 3rd! There was no reason for two test fit cars... That was never the agreement.

If anyone's true colors are showing, it is TTrank. Alex and Tom were saviors when it came to this project, now your saying they are showing there true colors by picking up their trunks and posting the review they promised to do. I bet if that review was bad, you would have left it.
I would love to see how you would react if you gave someone your money and then they took off with it. I have been asking for it back for weeks and weeks while Boomer has been telling me "I'll send it today", "I'll have it to you today", "Sorry man, I know I F-up'd you'll have it today", over and over.
What do you expect me to do? Just write it off and not say anything?
