Dude everyone has taken their G up to high speeds! 120 is nothing compared to how fast other people take their cars up to look at the roads over in Europe with no speed limits. If you haven't taken your G up to 120 at least once then you don't deserve to drive that car, trade it in on a yaris or something.
^ +1 with one condition... ONLY in the right place. Obviously the spot the OP picked to test out the G wasn't a good one. Most interstates=wrong place, residential area=wrong place, infront of the cops... well I don't have to tell you!

People that are freaking out over 120 need to chill out. I can understand if hes hucking 150 in and out of traffic, but out in the middle of nowhere a quick little burst to 120 (which takes all of 10 seconds) isnt going to hurt anyone and is perfectly safe in most instances ESPECIALLY in the right car and this car is PERFECTLY stable at 120. Hell a new Camry is limited to 130. If a camry can do that, a G will be fine at 120 and when theres no cars around there is nothing to worry about.
Holy lord you act as if hes pulling a fast and furious through traffic at 120.

stop bashing the guy for poor English. You don't know him and quite frankly it is none of your business to be disrespecting him. I'm guessing there are over 200 million people living in the United States and to at least half of them, English was second or third language. As long as you understood what he tried to say which you did than I don't see a problem. I can understand a professor getting on his students for improper grammar but this is a god damn forum not English 101. You are proud that you are well educated and know English well I understand that, but no need to put other people down. sorry for the outburst but some people are ridiculous
as to the OP, if you dont have problem driving a G35 at 120MPH in a 55MPH zone, i dont see how you have problem paying the $530 fine.

You better be lucky that is all you got. My BF got 4 tickets in Howard county for doing 70 in a 45. He did go to court but he was facing 1300+ in fines and 16 points. You better check the rules on the tickets. In VA anything over 80 is automatically reckless driving. I would try to go to court and get Probation Before Judgement if you have NO prior speeding tickets.
