Anyone lives in Maryland?

I speeded 120 Miles on the route 29.
it's 55 miles limited zone.

Fortunately, it wasn't classified as reckless driving..(i thank the police)
But i need to pay $530, it's pretty large amount of money to college student.
Some people recommended me to go say i'm guilty at the court.
I heard that in maryland howard county, if it is first time and under age 21, they pass over once. is it true?

I was wondering what if the judge aggravate penalty.
I'm worry if the judge add reckless driving and more penalty..
It can be worse if I go to court?

WTF were you doing 120MPH on a public road? Sorry, I have absolutely no sympathy for you. How the hell did they NOT write you up for reckless driving?

Take your medicine. And don't drive anywhere near where I live.

120?

a, an, the....articles are important in English.

As for the driving...if you're willing to go that fast you better be willing to pay for the penalty if you get caught.

Just pay the fine, or good luck going to court for that.

you could face much stiffer penalties if you contest this in court. be thankful that you only have to pay $530. also be thankful that as a college student you can afford to drive a G35.

you should also be prepared for increased insurance premiums...

Doing 120 on a public road is just plain stupidity.. in fact.. it's the epitome of stupidity..

Cop could have arrested you on the spot and impounded your car..

$530 is a small price to pay... could have been some ones life you had to account for..

I know i did bad thing. I really regret what I did.
and I know my english is horrible

I got the ticket 2 weeks ago
and after that happened, I keep the speed under limit speed.

I think It will be better to pay than to go court.
Thanks for advice

and blkonblkGsedan I really thank you that you correct all my grammatical errors.
Seriously, it helps to me. Thanks

you can go 5-9 MPH over the limit and not get in trouble, i would go to court to try and fight it cuz usually in court they'll work with you they don't really add more fines than what you received by the officer

What were you charged with (it's written on the ticket).
If he wrote 120/55 then PAY IT.

If he wrote something else then you might have something to work with BUT the officer will gladly bring up the whole story in court.

stop bashing the guy for poor English. You don't know him and quite frankly it is none of your business to be disrespecting him. I'm guessing there are over 200 million people living in the United States and to at least half of them, English was second or third language. As long as you understood what he tried to say which you did than I don't see a problem. I can understand a professor getting on his students for improper grammar but this is a god damn forum not English 101. You are proud that you are well educated and know English well I understand that, but no need to put other people down. sorry for the outburst but some people are ridiculous
