Do you guys leave the Registration / Insurance cards in the car?

lol nuts.... that's great hiding spot but also a good reason to get shot... PG cops here in Maryland don't play... If you reach you may as well say bye bye

Not a good idea to keep it where it is easy to locate. If someone breaks in to the car while you are at at a sporting event, movie theater, amusement park etc, they have your home address and know where and likely how long you will be away. Same goes for having your home address programed into your GPS. Leave your garage door opener there and if it is an attached garage they have an easy way in.

The bastards could’ve at least cleaned up the blood they left in the car… **Anyone know a good detail shop?** The person(s) broke into 7 cars total… Benz, Tahoe, Charger, some type of minivan, Camery, and a Hyundai. Took the cops less than 5 mins to get there I was pleased for that.
I did have that 2nd copy of my registration and insurance card in the glove box (which was wide open by the way)... I guess I'll be using that "secret" first aid compartment to store my stuff from now on when I go to places like that. And if I happen to get pulled over I'll just explain it to the cops before I start to reach for anything...
And yeah I know leaving my house keys in the car was a bonehead move… I thought I took them out of the consol and placed them in my pocket but I guess not…
