lol nuts.... that's great hiding spot but also a good reason to get shot... PG cops here in Maryland don't play... If you reach you may as well say bye bye

I'm sure it's due to the fact that if he/she (Ill just use he) drives another vehicle he'll always have his insurance with him and the registration should always be with the car when it's being driven..

My insurance company gives me a different card for each of my cars. I laminate the insurance card and registration and keep both in the car they belongs to.

Not a good idea to keep it where it is easy to locate. If someone breaks in to the car while you are at at a sporting event, movie theater, amusement park etc, they have your home address and know where and likely how long you will be away. Same goes for having your home address programed into your GPS. Leave your garage door opener there and if it is an attached garage they have an easy way in.

This indeed. I sometimes drive my parents cars for quick runs to the grocery store or other close by places since my G is parked in the garage and I would have to move a car to get it out. Just quicker to grab one of my parents cars.

And I am a He.

Funny that I just posted to this thread last week cause I went to the Skins game yesterday and when I got to my car I opened the drivers door and noticed my keys on my seat (house keys I left in the center consol), my center consol up, and worked my way up to looking at my busted out passenger window... I wasn't mad or shocked... that's why I have insurance... They stole my ipod that was in center consol and that's about it... Had to be a kid or crackhead cause if they would've opened the truck they would've found my laptop, some Jordan's, and some clothes from Macy's and a another new pair of shoes in the box.

The bastards could’ve at least cleaned up the blood they left in the car… **Anyone know a good detail shop?** The person(s) broke into 7 cars total… Benz, Tahoe, Charger, some type of minivan, Camery, and a Hyundai. Took the cops less than 5 mins to get there I was pleased for that.

I did have that 2nd copy of my registration and insurance card in the glove box (which was wide open by the way)... I guess I'll be using that "secret" first aid compartment to store my stuff from now on when I go to places like that. And if I happen to get pulled over I'll just explain it to the cops before I start to reach for anything...

And yeah I know leaving my house keys in the car was a bonehead move… I thought I took them out of the consol and placed them in my pocket but I guess not…
