Use butyl and not a silicone sealant. Some sealants have been known to release a chemical which may harm the lense. I've used a sealant before around my headlights but that was just around the outside of the lense, where the lense sits on the base. You may want to try that to see if the fogging goes away. That is essentially what I had todo when the ebay lenses on my OEM bases started fogging but I definately had a gap issue cause the ebay lenses don't sit properly down onto the OEM bases.

^ Listen to the wise old ( ) headlight master

I don't think you'll need to bake them open at all. Just seal around the outside really good, make sure the seals are good on the bulb bases, and get any moisture out so it's not trapped in, and you should be good
Try the simple fixes first. You'll only have to bake them if everything else fails.

G35papa, were you able to make it work doing a swap of the lenses onto the oems? would you consider swapping my lenses and black benzels onto my set of oems for some $?

Yes, I was able to do the swap. I just had to add sealer all the way around on the outside because two of the clips on one side didn't sit flush so they were not able to snap in. After I did the sealant, no more condensation.

Sure I could do it for you but you sure you don't want to give it a shot yourself? It really isn't hard at all.

I'm almost sure you can only buy them as a complete assembly. A quick call to riverside will answer that question really quick

Either way though, they're prone to be mucho deniro

Mine just have little scratches and what not. I'm going to give them a wet sand when I get the car back and see if I can make them look good again. I don't really want to buy an entire assembly off of ebay just to steal the lenses :S
