eBay Blackout headlights?
Has anyone ever tried these yet? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04...Q5fAccessories
My headlight brackets are broken and I need a cheap easy replacement for now. I was going to go do the blackout approach regardless, but I always have hazing issues afterwards. I also want to replace my headlights because theres really nasty yellow and I have a feeling that it cant be cleaned up good enough.

I had a set on my sedan and they were great. My sedan didn't have HID but I bought a universal hid kit as well. I would buy another set in a heartbeat.

I had an '03 with halogen headlights driving behind me one night that obviously put aftermarket HID's in....man did it glare. The beam pattern was nothing like my '06. It scattered light everywhere! The ground 2 feet in front of the car was lit up, as well as signs 10 feet above the ground.

usually hazing inside the lens is due to the paint not being fully cured prior to being reinstalled in the housing assembly and resealed.
the 3m kit does work wonders, also a nice high grit wetsanding and buffing will take care of all that stuff. imho, when it comes to things like headlights/taillights, oem or nothing. unless you swap out the lens and black housing to your oem headlight assembly, dont get it.

I don't mind paying a detailer to unhaze my headlights, but I also want them blacked out and crystal clear again like they use to be. I hate the feeling knowing their really yellow! And there is moisture inside..
I do not want to be cheap and buy eBay, but those headlights look promising. I have aftermarket HID's already, along with halogens. I wouldnt mind buying cheap eBays for my first retrofit. What do you guys think?
