Anyone else getting that Depressed feeling from getting your G ready for winter?

Today I started to get ahead on getting all my good parts off so I dont damage them this winter. Took my rear valance off and put the grid taillights back in. This week ill paint my ugly 03 bumper Brown and swap out the Nismo and put it safely in my shed. 4 show tires will be back on in a few weeks too. Man this is very depressing!

Anyone else start the winter process yet?

Did mine the other day, converted the cold air to a short ram in the off chance it might rain, heh, what is this winter thing of which you speak?

Not me, i'm looking forward to it. This is the fun time of year with my AWD.

Just got a new set of winter blades, put the all-season mats in, fresh fill of winter washer fluid, a scraper and small shovel and bag of cat litter in the trunk (not that i ever needed it with the AWD) and will be getting a new set of snow tires shortly.

I LOVE driving my car in the snow. When a storm is coming, i wait til it's thick and heavy and then go out in it. The G35x is awesome in the snow!

No AWD here so I have to drive somewhat careful. Yes the snow drifting is a lot of fun but thats the only good part.

Yea it sucks, all I changed was the wheels to the stock ones. The good thing is that the pressure to rush up and mod the car is off my back and I got 4 months to get the mods I've been wanting and put everything together, which is a first cuz im used to doing mods one at a time instead of in sh1tloads. I think your Nismo would be fine cuz is not too low and is not fiberglass, but if it gives you piece of mind go for it

Worse thing about winter is once the salt and sand starts flying, the car is never clean until Spring.

So this weekend i cleaned the hell out of my car and drove it around. Not too many weekends left where a shiny black G will stay shiny and black.

2 months from now, it will be a nice hazy black, with my carpet full of sand.

Got my Firestone Winterforces on, those tires make the car a real gem in the snow. Never got stuck last winter, turn off the traction control and the car is pretty much unstoppable until the snow gets deeper than 8".

I don't really have anything done to the car yet, so I'm not dreading winterizing it, though I hate the amount of salt Cincinnati uses on their roads.

I run all seasons on 17's for South Dakota winters and love every minute of it. Yes deep snow is a challenge but I enjoy changing things up a bit and playing in the snow. Not hearing my stock exhaust because my windows are up all the time - now that's depressing.
