Any 03/04 G35-S owners without Bose/HVAC issues?
deal directly with Clarion near you and not your stealership.
Are the symptoms consistent? i.e. stuck AC? or does the system just not turn off? or...? It would really suck to have the AC on full blast in the winter ;-)
As long as the radio works, I'm OK. I use an FM transmitter for my iPod and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not an audiophile and probably unable to hear highs and lows as well as someone else with 16yr old ears!

Symptoms? Not always, but try every function on the radio, including loading/playing/ejecting every disk from the changer ( just be sure to use ones you're not too attached to as it may never give them back
)
Try all the functions of the A/C system as well (this should really go without saying when you're looking to buy a car; but I've seen it overlooked way to many times!)
Also watch out if they brag about the battery just being replaced, because that could mean the radio has been killing it, and they just thought it was a bad batt. This was the case when I bought mine.

Honestly, just replace it with an aftermarket unit. I tried having the local Infiniti dealership fix mine because it was broken when I bought it ($479)... and no luck.
Instead, I bought a new dash piece with the AC controls ($250), a Pioneer headunit w/ iPod integration ($250), BOSE adapter ($30), and did the installation myself. I went ahead and ran power cables, RCA cables, and a remote wire to the trunk while everything was taken apart, as well as drilled a ground cable. The aftermarket unit alone sounds much better than the stock bose unit, and now I'm wired up for anything in the trunk... and it cost me ~$600.. to have a MUCH more sophisticated system.
