When we say "MP3 CDs", we mean "Burning MP3s to a disk, AS MP3 files". This allows you to fit 700Megs of music (about 700 minutes), versus the standard music CD that holds only 70 minutes of music.

I'm guessing that you meant you burned a 70 minute music CD from MP3s. That's pretty standard technology for the G-- now when they can read MP3 data CDs, I'll be happy.

Try how about having a "nice" stereo system. I went from my Dodge Intrepid (no subwoofer) with Infiniti Kappas in the front and Alpine 6X9"s in the back... a rockford fosgate punch 300X and an Alpine MP3 capable head unit. I think the works cost me around 1000 on Ebay to a monumental downgrade in sound in my G35. Next new car tell me it's got a Bose and I don't want it! Bose is a negative selling point to me.

Yes Bose is a negative. I have their 901s in my home collecting dust. When I heard them at Fry's I was impressed but I did realize that the concrete floor really helps the base response. Got them home and I added a sub just to get the feeling of having any bottom end. That was a $2000 mistake. I would like to get rid of the system but I want to hear the Rockford setup in my wife's new Titan tonite. I jope its good well anything is an improvement over the Bose system....I think...?..?

the bose system is pretty shitty in our g35s, but my bro's fx has a pretty damn good bose system. Wish they could use the same one for both cars =(

The bose in my 350z roadster is x-lent. But I agree with the one in my G35, its sucks big time

I also tried it in my 2004 without success. I put some *.mp3 files in the root directory only, and closed the disk session. No luck. Cancel this rumor.
