It doesn't seem like any tint is on it, not sure if its the same darkness, I emailed Bluebat to see what he says.

^ I think the first pic is with the opaque tint and the second picture is with the lighter tint, there's different shades

FYI for SoCal guys, the cops are really cracking down on tinted tail lights. I got pulled over Monday on the 60 E fwy. The cop said they arent going to be as lenient as before.

THat is exactly why I painted the inside. All the lights can shine just as bright as before this way
I am going to paint over a majority of the stock turn signal though. I'm relocating the turn signal though, so I should be good.

I hope he referenced the CVC... if not he's full of ****... did he give you a citation? if so what is the VC listed?

Good luck to you man! THe cop said if the tail lights arent red like OEM its a violation. My tint lets 90% of light pass through & I still got pulled over during the day.

Yes I got a citation for violation of VC 26101 "modified lights".
