350 Intake

Re: 350 Intake
Ok.... delete info about undoing clips but otherwise same procedure.
For pictures check out gallery under "MISC".
Actually you'll also need a 10mm socket and pliers as well. The engine cover will need to be removed (careful to not loose the rubber grommets on the plenum side of cover.

Re: 350 Intake
Thanks for your replies. I ordered one from Everything G35. Cost less shipped than the Nissan dealer next door to my office. Even with my 15% Gold discount card it was cheaper mail order.
I also found a color step by step in the FAQ/DIY section. Printed it out on my new color laser printer.
I'm all set. Just have to wait for the delivery.
Have a great holiday weekend everyone.

Re: 350 Intake
I went to a couple of the 350z sites and posted: Wanted 350z intake for G35. I got 4 replies in a few days. I think it is the best bang for the buck, especially if purchased used. I don't think the airbox replacement is worth the money. A drop in K&N or Fram Airhog is better. I did modify the secondary air intake scoop slightly to open it up a little more.

Re: 350 Intake
Didn't notice much change in mileage after Z-tube.
After Stillen Dual exhaust installed, my mileage improved for highway driving significantly. In the city I enjoy running through the gears and enjoying the sound so I only see a slight improvement.
