You should get an 04 manual, no oil consumption problem and there are white with black interiors, just hard to find
The underlined statement above makes it sound like ALL 05-06 6mt's have oil consumption. This is incorrect. They are prone to OC issues but it is a hit or miss problem. Because of this I would recommend an extended warranty.Originally Posted by Bestswat

I'd change the interior of a car from wheat to graphite before i would paint the exterior of a blue car to white.
IMO if he buys a black on black sedan and down the line wants to paint it white there's nothing wrong with a black engine bay and black trunk jam if he plans on keeping the car for a while, if it was a white car with gray jams that's different, is like painting the roof black, is a different color and looks goodOriginally Posted by Mustang5L5
I wouldn't buy a car with the intention of giving it a color change. Color change cars are rarely done correctly (painted bay, door jambs, inner doors, trunk, etc) and the value of the vehicle is reduced. I'd change the interior of a car from wheat to graphite before i would paint the exterior of a blue car to white.

Is there anyway I can tell if it does or is going to have the problem.Originally Posted by TwilightBlue

+1,000,000 to that! Just get an 03 or 04. They're availible (though rare) in Ivory Pearl white (aka IP) with black interior, they don't have the oil consumption problem, And a lot of people like the looks of a 03/04 with the Areo package better than the 05/06 anyway.Originally Posted by Bestswat

Now the only trick is finding one!

BTW. Here's an 03 with black interior. It's AT and doesn't have the areo pkg though. But you get the idea.

I hope they still have it in like 2 weeks thats exactly what I want. Less miles would be nice but it 30k is still lower enough for me.

You are right only because black tends to do with everything...so in a way it will look like it's suppos to be like that.
But if the car is originally red or something and you paint it a different color, then it won't look so hot when you open the door on your black car and see red door jambs or a red engine bay.
