This is from NADA. Thats a hefty discount they gave you. Did you get a mechanic to check the car? Any paint work?
the dealer had been trying to sell the car for the the past 5 months. he wanted 18950 dropped to 17950 and then to 16950.. i paid 16850 for her and then traded in my '99 nissan altima with 154K miles. they gave me $1500 for it. so thats how i eneded up at the price i got. carfax and autocheck ckc out. i do have to replace the brakes and rotors though.

i just got off the phone with the infiniti dealer the car had been serviced at and the guy told me the previous owner never did the 30K maintainace and was always late on getting the oil changed. the time before last the person was late by 8K miles...that kinda hurt my heart hearing that..

wow my first fill up lasted 285 miles! i really hope that changes! i will admit i have been hard on it and seeing as the 30k service was skipped, it is probably affecting the gas mileage.

i am getting my rotors refinished and new pads put in this weekend.

i will be getting the 30k service done next week piece by piece. i can do both filters myself. My friend and I will attempt the diff oil change, firestone quoted me $129 for trans flush, and infiniti is running a $20 oil change special right now and i will use this opportunity to do the OC test. does this all sound like a good game plan?

^Mileage probably won't change. That's fairly close to average.
Of note though is that your fuel light lies (almost all Nissans do)
You usually have 3 gal or more still in the tank when the light comes on
