HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN TENNESSEE?
Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Tennessee, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.
Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Back Side Windows Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Rear Window Must allow more than 35% of light in.

So basically to pull off legal tint on a G with OEM 80% tint on it's windows, you can't go darker than 45% film.
That's too light.
But anyway welcome to the boards Enjoy the car

Beautiful car. The exact color combo I want when I upgrade! (unless I find the perfect IP (white) 6MT)
As far as the exhaust... There is a HUGE thread on the exhaust choices for these cars. I have Test pipes, nismo y-pipe, coupe middy, and HKS rear section.. .IMHO it's too loud!! I"d recommend High Flow Cats, an HR Y-pipe, coupe middy, and HKS rear section. All of this in the end will end up costing you around $700.. so you could piece it together over time.
As far as tint? Just go with 20%... it's light enough that you can see through it in the day time (aka the cops don't look twice in the day time) and dark enough that when there isn't a lot of light out... it's PLENTY dark... I've had 20% on my cars for 5 years now (in Indiana), and never been bothered. I've even had periods of having limo tint. I've only had one tint ticket and it was when I actually tinted the entire windshield (dumb).
And the brakes? Just drive the car.. it'll wear itself down.. no worries

M45 wheels are the ****. I prefer them over the usually OEM ray's 19's. Much harder to find though. I think that actually is a member on here if I remember from browsing.
Here's a picture of my 20% tint when it was a bone stock car. (5% on rear glass)
5% on the rear glass is a good way to make your entire car darker without attracting a lot of attention... it lets less light inside, yet it's not a piece of glass the cops can meter
Then the tinted windshield:

Honestly that price sounds extremely cheap for an 06. I would be very skeptical if they sold the car for that cheap.
