Airbags are diploid by car accident

I got an accident yesterday.
My front hit the other car's passinger fender.

Driver and passanger side airbags were diploid.
I saw front bumper and hood got damaged.
I am not sure the frame is ok.

If frame got damaged and bent, it will cost a lot of money.
(My auto insurance is MAIF which only covers Liability)

But if the frame is ok, I will get the aftermarket parts
and install myself or ask to someone.
I guess airbags must be replaced by dealership.

It will be better to explain the condition of my car with pics,
but I didn't pick it up from towing company yet.
I will post pics as soon as I pick up the car

I have some questions.

1. I know nobody can anwer surely but,
usually if airbags are diploid, and frame will be bent?
2. I heard that cheep ebay aftermarket parts doesn't fit well.
What aftermarket bumpers are famous in here?
3. Is fiberglass hood Ok? it doesn't need to be painted so I like it.
4. If fenders are bent, can bodyshop flatten it instead of replacing?

Thanks

1. Not always, and sometimes seldom. The sensors can be triggered and the frame might not have been shocked. Post some photos of the damage.

2. You heard right, most ebay stuff is crap. I don't know what year your car is so I don't know what bumper is good for you. Rookie or strafe automotive can help you pick a bumper.

3. Yea that's fine, make sure it's for you model year though. 03/04 are swappable with eachother, and 05/06 are, but they don't swap backwards or forwards.
4. Depends how bad, you'd probably be better off replacing them.

5. Is English your second language?

6. car-part.com you'll find every part you need.

^ rookie is a member that makes a front bumper. It's fiberglass and is a sedan favorite. Do a search for Kurookie and you'll find it.

Strafe automotive is a company that sells bumpers and other after market parts. Search for Dustin@strafeautomotive or just wait until they chime into this thread. Shouldn't be long.

But if you want a KuRookie, you will need to hunt Rookie. He's hard to find sometimes.

Check to see if the front fiberglass frame is cracked.

Oh jeez. Use wikipedia.

Fiberglass and Carbon fiber are VERY different materials.

There are little to know carbon hoods on the market for the G sedan. Myself and a few other members are the handful that have them and mine was custom....

The stillen comes in Carbon, but it has a huge bulge in it for the Stillen stage 1 supercharger.

Do some searching on google. Remember it MUST fit 03/04 and ONLY 03/04

http://www.google.com/products?hl=en...ed=0CBwQrQQwAw

I googled 'g35 4dr hood' and this is the rink.
google shows some aftermarket carbon fiber hoods
I tried to find oem hood but it deosn't show.
They are between $400-600
But I can't trust this because ebay bodykits are crap.
are these carbon fiber hoods ok?

The stock hood is aluminum, is it necessary to install anything lighter than that? Or is it just for the "unpainted" look?
