Hey everyone. Reviving an old thread here.. I have the same problem as was listed here with the seat rocking. Does anyone here have a picture of what the seat looked like AFTER getting it welded?
I'm considering getting my seat welded instead of the bracket. Welding those 2 parts together will make for a stronger joint methinks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My 03 g25 coupe has only 35k miles. Had it since new (wife's car)..

Thanks!

Mine's broken again. The cylindrical part is very thin steel, and was difficult to weld. And getting those torsion rods back in was a bitch. I'd replace.

Well, I got my seat welded today. No need for a bracket. I painted the area to prevent rust and reinstalled the seat into the car..
I'll see how long this works..
