I really wish the US used the metric system, but it's too late to change now.

Anyway, I agree with thescreensavers. Use Matic-S for the tranny and Amsoil for everything else. I'm at 51K and will be doing a full fluid change this summer.

^Nope. There's no such thing as .3mm, my bolt pattern is 5x4.5.

It is strange though. A lot of stuff we use is metric, but English measurements still won't go away even in Canada and the UK. For example, Top Gear is forevermore referencing MPH, 1/4mi, MPG, and even deg Fahrenheit!
You're right though, tire measurements are by far the worst. One of the few measurements that uses both systems
"Hey guys, I've got an idea! Let's use MM to measure the width of the tire, but IN to measure the wheel!"

Even the bolt pattern is funny that 114.3 is exactly 4.5in, so you know it's just left over from measuring in inches, yet there are still plenty of Japanese and European cars that use this measurement.

Silly people, make up your minds.

BTW... back on topic. Matic S or J???

Oooh so you got one of those new fancy in-TRUNK filters? I wonder how those work...

Also, I hardly believe 60k means best miles are behind you... As long as you didn't wreck it, that is.
Another thing, from what I've been reading on this forum, I thought it was best to stick with Nissan's transmission fluid, correct?

Looks like either is okay, as is mixing (same stuff, with an additive):

It's also okay to use/mix Amsoil ATF. I may try it this summer and report back.
