I'm AWD so i have to stick with one sizing. i'm either running the HTRIII like yourself or Hancook v12's.

1. 245/40 and 245/45 have a lot more selection VS the 235/45 for STOCK
2. looks that can do either way...
3. its not a big deal to me.
4. this is what i'm more interested in. You was refering to tires making a huge diffrence and making the G handle like a stock STi, would either of those 2 sizes make any diffrence? because if not i'm running with the 45 sidewall for more comfort.


I have the stock 245/45/18 that came on the 350z still mounted on the rear tires. to me they look fine. I'm not trying to make it to the hella flush movement or anything. I just want something that works.

In my mind right now if i can rework my car with what i have, i might like it and hold on it to more. on the side note i found a LGT wagon and a magnum hemi on the same dealership lot. so i can test both.

 

i am going with 245/45/18 and 275/40/18 on my G35X. i have lots of friends running AWD cars and as long as the overall diameter front to rear is virtually identical you can run a staggered set-up.

 

Well, if you want a bs, you need to go to an accredited 4 or 5 year college or university. There are some programs that give you an AA in engineering technology, but I would pass on that as you just end up being some engineers lackey for $20/hour.

There is usually coop interships and such associated with the college time. It's a lot of math and theory.

haha, no i mean one of my friends is at MIT and he and one of his friends is gonna get a contract with Fedex to retrofit their engines. We're talking about a multi-million dollar deal for an undergrad. all he does is business stuff while his friend does the mechanical stuff. i'd love some easy money like that
