confused on the USA-Spec

i was first told to get the PA15-Infiniti and later in another response i was told PA15-Nis.. ok so which is it. the way they explained it, it seems PA15-Nis works on ALL... is this correct?
i assume PA11-NIS would also work for all if im not mistaken

I think they've just renamed it, they're probably the same. Go here http://usaspec.com and use the vehicle search to confirm. We have PA11-NIS in our 05 and 06 Gs - there was no "INFI" model back then. We needed to upgrade the cable a couple years back when Apple changed the pinout for charging.

The NIS plugs into the back of the radio. The INFI plugs into the SAT tuner in the trunk.

If you have SAT (whether you use it or not), go with the INFI. If you don't have SAT, go with the NIS.

If you'd just gone to the source (usaspec website), you'd have seen this:

For all the above listed vehicle models/years, use the PA15-NIS model if the vehicle does not have SAT receiver or if it's not pre-wired for SAT. PA15-NIS's functionality is 100% equivalent to the PA15-INFI. PA15-NIS coonects to the radio while the PA15-INFI connects to the SAT receiver.

Yea, the USA Spec INF hooks into the Sat receiver in the trunk. According to the website if you have an 04 up then you have the Sat receiver- but there are some exceptions like the 07 models. Anyway, if u go with the INF then check out the DIY I posted when I did mine a couple months ago. I'd be glad to help
