No Muffler
more than likely they would if not you can go to advance auto , auto zone etc and see if they have any tips .. or best bet it to order the ones you want .. you can find them on ebay
Cool cool. You going to get this done? Im thinking about it I just know my midas shop around here would charge and arm and a leg to do this. prob atleast 150 dollars for them to do this.
i went to a local shop last week and they said 60 bucks without tips ... so total cost for everything about 100 bucks
i want to get it done i want to hear a few drive bys and stuff before i spend the money ...

Same. I want to do this mod too and its pretty cheap! Don't know if it will be a lot louder on my 2006 g35 sedan tho...
Would this be legal for CA smog test or in CA in general? If a cop pulls me over for something, would he write me a citation for not having a muffler?
I looked online and it seems that CA law requires a muffler to be installed? Supposedly its V.C. Section 27150. Dang If this was legal i would be all over this mod

really thats weird ... all the places i went to in tampa didn't have a problem doing it .. but i wanted so i can find the tips that i really want
From an emissions standpoint it's legal, but from a decibel level, it's most likely illegal. Without a muffler and going WOT will likely exceed the 95 db level for most jurisdictions.
I would like adding a small inline resonator and quality resonated tips could result in a really clean sound. If I had a 6MT, I'd probably do it. On a 5AT? No way, the car spends too much time in resonating zone and the torque converter makes it worse.

Don't waste your time doing this crap, you can't even speak w/ someone in your car. Let alone hear your music. Def not a cool move. But on a side note. Is there anyway our cars quiet?
