No Muffler

So i got bored the other day and i started surfing youtube and i noticed that Gs without mufflers sounded really good. I know that sounds so ricer but does taking off the muffler require cutting through a weld or can u just unbolt it? Do any of u guys have any opinions about this?

Maybe my tastes are different,,,but I don't like how that sounds at all. It sounds like a g35 with a nice tuned exhaust driving next to a pos car where the muffler fell off.

Is the power loss really that bad? Im not to worried about in cabin noise because im 16 and im not in my car for more than 15 minutes at a time and i was just lookin to make my car sound a little cooler for just the summer.

Say i did unbolt my muffler is it as simple as getting it up and unbolting it then boltiing it back on when im done with the noise?

Yes unbolt and bolt. You will prob need to jack the car up a bit. I had to.

It is a bit ghetto and ricey, but unbolting the muffler does not lose power. I'm pretty sure I can quote one of the guys from MotorDyne about it and they sure as hell know what they're talking about.

I've experimented without the muffler (I have a coupe, not sure if it matters) and it sounds REALLY good in my opinion, just a tad bit on the ghetto side and people can see that when they drive behind you. It's basically the stock sounds just amplified.

Honestly it is not that loud at all inside the cabin, it will be VERY noticable at first, coming from a stock exhaust,in the cabin but you'll kind of get used to it.
