Looking at buying

Hey guys, so i'm looking at buying an 03-04 AT sedan in the near future, and I'm wondering if you guys would be able to give me any 'quirks' that these cars have that reviews don't mention, and if there's anything specific i should be looking for when i'm looking at the cars. Also if you have any other advise for buying one of these i'd love to hear it, thanks.

I'd go with an 05-06. Upgraded brakes, better interior, vastly improved exterior.

Biggest "quirk" I can think of is something called "JibberJabbers" if it comes into contact with anyone who likes Infiniti or is looking to buy one, it has a severe reaction and attempts to completely discredit any Nissan/Infiniti product down to mid-90s Kia status.

Depend on your ability to drive as to "quirks". So have bought a G35 & shortly after purchase expirianced a "quirk" of pole jumping into the side off the car. This "quirk" is rarely encounterd in Nissan Maxima, This might be a good alternitive.

I was saying that depending on this guys ability to drive he might wrap it around a pole because of the rwd. If he does drive like an idiot he may want to consider FWD such as a Maxima.

It all makes sense now. And yes, inside jokes rule. I'm glad there are quite a few on Driver. Haven't heard SBF in a while.

The only issue my 03 has had was the Bose in-dash changer stopped working and wouldn't let go of my discs. Took it to the Infiniti dealer (1 hour away), they gave me a loaner (08 G sedan) for the weekend while they ordered a new (refurb) stereo/AC control unit. Replaced the unit, which was goodwilled by BOSE (car was out of warranty) and a few weeks later, they mailed my CD's back to me.
I do have the squeakies too, but doesn't really bother me.
