Does this look like paint splitting?

It was repainted in October 2009, the shop's website has a "limited lifetime guarantee." Should they be fixing this for free?

You can see a couple more "splits" in the paint above the bumper in the crease with the trunk

well pic doesnt work and i think it would depend on the terms of their "limited lifetime guarantee" and if you have that or not and also proof/paperwork that you have that

they wont fix that. happen to me also. mine started like that and started cracking like crazy. like a web look. the shop told me that something hit me and they won't cover it. really, it's their excuse not to repaint, because i brought it to them like a dozen time to repaint non stop. so i think they're sick and tired of me getting it painted for free.

Looks like the primer failed under the top coat. I'd definately take it back and show them. There's no evidence of a hit in the picture you provided.

Doesn't look like a ding to me. It looks more like the paint/primer isn't bonding.

Ok glad I wasn't thinking crazy, I thought someone hit me at first or cut the paint, but there are two similar splits in the pic above where its splitting as well, I'll bring it to the shop tomorrow
