you better have a good part-time job while at school, and a nice nest-egg in the bank for the initial purchase.
The G35 is not an expensive car to maintain for what it is - a sports sedan. but it is waaaaay more costly to operate than most typical "student" cars. (i.e. honda civic etc...).

Do you drive streets or highways? How often do you drive? Consider those first. I get about 320-400 miles a tank driving normally with some slight aggressive driving every now and then. I drive in traffic sometimes, sometimes I don't. Costs roughly $60 to fill up the tank and that's every week (used to be more when I drove ~500+ miles a week.
Insurance as mentioned is another thing to consider as someone else mentioned. It will depend on your record. To give you an idea, i'm 26 and have 6 points within the last 3 years (thankfully they're clearing up soon). I pay $240 per month with full coverage (insurance company will vary, I'm with Eastwood right now just to save on cost but will go back with AAA, Wawanesa, Mercury, All State, etc later when my record clears up.
Car maintenance and repair isn't bad. Find a good mechanic that isn't expensive. I haven't had too much maintenance on my '06 other than oil changes, belts, and 60k services (modding aside).
Also put into factor how much you'll be spending per month. If your cost is close to what you make per month, i'd look into another car for the time being so you have some pocket change to do stuff and save up for the G later on.
