Tire Pressure Alert
the manual states that the spare is not monitored.
my light came on (with buzzer) awhile ago, and is still on. I reviewed the vehicles history report, and this problem has occured previously. all they did was reset the indicator.

I had new tires and wheels put on a couple weeks ago and my light decided to turn on yesterday. I've read that the sensors need to be reset when switching wheels, but not sure why it waited 300 miles before turning on.
Anybody know how much the dealer charges to reset these? My guess is it's a rip off.

I'm thinking that the reset should cost nothing, as there are no parts involved, and I cannot imagine the labor being any more than 5 minutes. so next time you take it in, ask them to reset it...
Ha, well I feel like an idiot. Turns out my sensor was just doing its job and telling me my front left tire was down to 20 psi. I filled it back up and the light turned off.
Guess that's what I get for assuming the tire guy filled them all up equally. The pressures were all over the board.

update on this:
when taking my car for a oil/filter change, I asked them to check the alert, and they said that it needed to be reset - no charge (no explanation either).
