Yep. He could buy an extra set of the foam spacers and everything should be flush. You could probably even make your own if you wanted to keep it cheap.

CD player says "Disk Error" on all CDs, but the radio still works.

Double Din time?

^Yes.

Although if you're broke, there are a few things you can try first.
Changer might be jammed. Some have had success unjamming them. IDK how to do it though.
For mine, I took the entire unit out, removed the cd changer, and put everything back together without the changer. Everything else works (radio, tape, a/c controls) just without the cd (and it doesn't drain the battery anymore)

Does it have anything to do with the ashtray?

LOL

I don't know if it's related, but I can't close my ashtray because there seems to be some type of blockage. I don't know how the internals look, but I doubt that it has anything to do with the CD changer.

Just curious.

^Shouldn't be. Unless a wire harness came loose and is in the way. But I find that doubtful.

On the bright side, when you take the radio out you can get whatever is jamming the ashtray out of the way

Thank you

If I buy the kit, it should come with an instruction manual, right?

I searched on the forums here but I only found a .pdf on the 03-04. (I have the 05)

I would definitely attempt to unjam the CD changer. You have an '05 so it's probably not the typical radio problems that the '03-'04's experience.

They are great lugs! I had them for about 3 years on my old car and made sure to take them off when I sold it. The operation is great as McGuard manufactures them very accurately. The floating mount point is easy on the rims. The fit for the key and regular socket was a little tight...but that was on aftermarket wheels...not McGuards fault. Just a tiny bit of the paint chipped after 2 years or so. I also suggest getting the locks...they work great. I ordered mine from Summit Racing because they had the lowest prices I could find.

Ah, the 05's generally don't have the problem that the 03-04's have?

I'm going to be switching to an electric fan soon (03.0 clutch fan FTL!)

I've got the fan already, any recommendations on the controller to use?

Nope. That's not to say there aren't '05-'06's out there that have had radio issues...just that it's not nearly as common.

The '03-'04's generally have AC controller problems at the same time and end up needing an entirely new unit. It sounds like your changer may have just gotten jammed up.

Regardless, it's worth a try to mess with it to see if it's an easy fix.
