Those specs definately won't need spacers... You'll probably have to run a combination of camber/fender roll/stretched tire. I'm no stance expert though.

What is the size of front and rear brake bleeder valves?

I think the fronts are 10mm x 1.0m x 33mm

I know the rears are 8mm but what are the other dimensions?

I posted this in the "Buying, Selling, and Leasing" forum, but was hoping for some more insight/response since we are going to look at this G35 first thing tomorrow morning

Looking to possibly trade in the wife's 2004 Honda Accord EX coupe this weekend at a local dealership that has a 2004 G35 RWD Sedan with premium package and only 37K miles on it. Was hoping to get some feedback from G owners...

The dealer has it listed for $17,995. Realistically, I think we can get $8,000 for my wife's trade in, but I really don't know what a fair asking price is on such a low mileage, 6 year old, G35. Edmund's TMV is right at $16,000 ($1,300 of that total cost is inflated for the low mileage). Would it be unreasonable to initially offer $15,500 ($2,500 below their list price)?

Assuming we like the car and the Carfax checks out okay, Do you think this is a good buy at $16K if the dealer accepts this offer? We are looking to keep this car for a good 7+ years/100K miles so we like the fact that the miles are so low to begin with.

One other question I had is that this 04 model seems to have a different front bumper and a rear skirt that I've only seen on a few other 2004 G35 sedan's. Was this a another add-on/special package? I have attached a few pictures of the vehicle.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

That's not a good price at all. For perspective, I bought my 06X with 27K, Premium C package + Navigation for $18,900 + TTL in May.

I think you should look around for at least an 05-06, if not an 07+. If you post your budget, I'd be able to help you out since earlier this year I spent months looking around for the right car.

That bumper etc. is the coveted Nismo package, which includes side skirts, btw...SCORE!!! Negotiate hard (price seems quite high for an 04), but if CF comes back clean, especially with those low miles, buy that car. And don't mention the bumper/rear lip/side skirts...the seller may not know its value.

$16K isn't a good negotiated price? Or the dealer's $17,995 list price isn't good? Or both?

We really don't want to spend more than $16K-$16.5K. There is an 06 G35X that is also priced at $17,995 in our area that we may consider, but it has 59K miles, no nav and no moonroof.

Both.

I bought my 03.0 over a year and a half back (prices have fallen since then) for just over $9k after tax and everything.
It had 100k mi and didn't have the Nismo areo package, but the mileage hasn't been an issue yet and it's now closing in on 125k. Also, I've done a few things here and there to make the car look better and always looked for deals, etc... and I'm still under $13,000 TOTAL spent for the car+mods+repairs(almost none of those btw).

A lot of the random little bugs that the 03/04s have aren't really mileage dependent. For example, according to the service record, the radio first failed on mine in Sep 03 with only 20,000mi on the car.

are you going to be driving it in much snow? if not I wouldn't bother with the x, but that price is too high for an 04.

I paid 13900 for my 04 6mt a year ago, granted with 67,000 miles but still, I think they also had an 05 with 30 something for 18 or 19

then again I assume you are looking at automatics in which case the difference between the 04 and 05 aren't that great

just wondering, unless your wife has some sporting intentions, why trade an 04 accord for an 04 G?

the reasons to buy the G over the accord would be that its rwd and more powerful. Its not really a lot more luxurious. Sorry for telling the truth about cars again.

We only get a few snowfalls a year and our roads are usually pretty well plowed within 24 hours. Automatic is a must. We have a 9 month old and it's more practical for her to have a 4 door car. She's always wanted a G35 sedan and her Accord just hit 90K miles. It has plenty of life left in it so we have no problem keeping it if we can't get a decent offer on our trade and a fair price on the G35.

So assuming this thing is flawless and drives like it should, what is the max you guys would pay for this car given the miles, options, etc?
