Just cut em up to fit.
You can just buy chicken wire stuff and paint it black.

Try to source some AutoMesh (it's black plastic) or something similar... or use quality grade aluminum mesh (not chicken wire) if you want to keep it metal/silver (most people dont like that look though)... or powder coat should hold up well.

Have two questions:
1) How much modification would it take to put the M shift **** on an 06 shifter? I have seen the DIY for the 07+, is it the same?
2) Anyone have the part number for the M shift **** or the stock G **** in black? I have looked through both grubbs and infinitipartsonline and can't seem to find the part anywhere.
Thanks.

Replaced my driver's side rear axle today and while I had the rear jacked up with the driver's wheel off I started the car up and put it in drive to make sure everything was secured properly. Damn car wouldn't rev for **** and was throwing the slip light so I put it in park and it revved fine.
Put the wheel back on, dropped the car down, and the damn car drives fine. Is the drivetrain so computerized it needs to know the wheels are on the ground before it works properly?

You don't have to mess with it taking the axle off. Nothing changed except putting the wheel back on and putting the car on the ground.
Tried it with VDC off and on. Same result.
