Random Little Question Thread
Anyone ever shipped a 03/04 muffler? I need to know how much they weigh and I don't really feel like taking it off just for that.
Alternately, if someone has one laying around that they could weigh?

TPMS they work on 2nd gens as well ? vice versa? ideas?
i've seen pictures they are exactly the same LOOKING but i dont know if they are on the same freq. I dont see why nissan would switch up the freq. maybe to make more money or better readings.

the headlights are shapped differently on the bottom, where it meets the bumper the top is the same
I just lubed my brakes with some high temp caliper grease and so far it seems like the squeaking I was hearing when not braking is gone. Who knows how long it'll last though.
I have a new problem now. My steering wheel now has a shimmy to it once I hit around 65mph...which was not there the drive before I started the brake lubrication job.
All I did was take off the (front) wheels, take out the bottom caliper bolt, pivot the caliper, remove the pads, and lube all metal to metal contact points...like the piston-inboard pad, pad & shim, caliper-outboard pad, and the pad seats.
I did this to the front wheels only. Tried to do the rear wheels but my ratchet&socket wouldn't fit on the caliper bolt, grabbed a 14mm wrench and proceeded to strip the bolt
, so I left that wheel (rear left) alone. Moved over to the rear right, but as I was jacking the car up, those tabs started to bend so I just let the car done & said screw it.
What could I have done that caused this?

Mine weighs 18.8lbs with out tips, and its cut right behind the muffler, so I dont know if that helps..

Time for new struts. I've got 76k miles on the sport tuned suspension with unrevised Z springs. When I hit a pothole or imperfection in the road I really feel it. I want that "Lexus/Toyota" feel! Would you guys recommend D-specs, OEM, 350z or something else?
