^ to answer your question, there is a NISMO 3,9 final drive but i think its something you have to buy from nissan.

I dont think it came on a normal production car. kinda like the LMGT wheels, they are bought but never came on a nismo edition.

Mainly because i never saw a bolt-on application for this, you have the buy the ring and pinion, install it into your own diff. VS bolting on a 3.3 or 3.5

i'm about 90% on this answer. I never looked into it because my AWD system most likely will not accept it

@candlestick park

marcus, i'm still not following on why you have to add the tranny cooler, when i was trying to fit my last one in the hoses looked like it would be just a plug and play radiator?? but the problem was that it physically wouldn't line up with the holes (i'll try and get pics for ya), and sit correctly to be bolted back into place.

either way i wouldn't mind adding a tranny cooler, is that the stillen in those pics?? i like the way that looks sitting behind the mesh man, almost like an intercooler haha

IMO, it's much better to run all 4 on winters.

If you have a 5AT your tranny cooler is built into the radiator. Only 6MTs have an external tranny cooler. Most aftermarket radiators that I'm aware of (Koyo, Mishimoto, etc) don't come with a built in tranny cooler so if you are 5AT then you need to buy an external one to run an aftermarket radiator. My tranny cooler is an Earl's cooler with Earl's AN fittings. There are cheaper options out there but I've had very good experiences with Earl's products so I decided to get their cooler too.

What kind of radiator were you attempting to install (sorry if I missed if the first time I read your post)?

Hey, since you're here and answering questions....

Where can I get a replacement top radiator hose similar to yours (maybe in a black mesh instead of bare stainless?)

There are a few black hoses that Earl's makes (I'm sure there are other brands too).

Earl's Prolite 350 hose: http://www.holley.com/types/Pro-Lite%20350%20Hose.asp

Earl's Prolite Ultra hose: http://www.holley.com/types/Pro-Lite%20Ultra%20Hose.asp

Earl's Ultraflex 650 Kevlar: http://www.holley.com/types/Ultra%20...-%20Kevlar.asp

I don't recall the sizing of any of the coolant hoses but I could find out for you if you'd like. Just be aware that this stuff ain't cheap, if you go with Earl's stuff you'll spend over $100 easy on hoses and fittings, depending on hose many hoses/clamps you are trying to replace. I've spent at least $500 on braided hoses, clamps, AN fittings and hose sleeving alone I bet.

Econofit hose clamps (same ones I run), they come in black, red and chrome (pics of black and red below). These suckers are expensive too, up to like $15 each for the large ones IIRC.

guys, how much should a front wheel bearing cost? plus labor?

Just so I have an idea. I was "roughly quoted" 300ish for the part and 100ish for the labor. Is that accurate?

I was planning of just not having it done and just do it myself next spring but apparently it's bad to have those thing wait. And no, I can't do it now because it's too damn cold and I don't have a garage

From what I've seen, that is pretty close to what they cost brand new. Maybe just a little high. Message SN00P, I believe he just changed his.
