The platinum plugs it has in it are good for right around that, so just make that part of your initial or 100,000mi service

I have a question regarding auto transmission. While it is a general question, i have g35 and don't want to ruin its transmission hence the question.

When we park a car, is it advisable to first engage foot brake(hand brake) and then put the car in P mode. Till now what i am doing is. Park the car, keep the brake pedal depress, engage P, shut down the car and get out. Is this harmful to transmission in long run?

Expert please advice.

I need to pin point the noise and find out exactly where its coming, so mayb all that I need to do is lift up some rubber put something like hot glue and it will be fixed.

In the next few weeks I should have something

Just use the stock plugs they are great. You can buy them online at AAP website use a coupon code and pick them up in store.

They are pretty easy to do, especially with the right tools. AAP also sells a sparkplug tool made by gear wrench it has a strong magnet and has a swivel joint which helped alot. You are going to need an extension.

If you are on a flat surface it does not really do anything, but if you are on any type of incline/decline put the parking brake on then put it in park. Other wise you will feel the pin struggle to come out and will make a weird noise once released. Since its under load. Its pretty robust so a few times here and their is not a big deal. I have seen someone put their car in park at like 30mph lol, it locked the rear wheels up. and as far as I know it still went into park just fine.

So if your on any type of incline/decline parking brake first then put it into park.

The 18s are 350z stock wheels so I'm sure the weight is around the same and wheel width differs by 0.5"

It's on the front left if it matters.
Bump, anyone? I don't think it's an issue but I just wanted to gauge some other opinions since there's a lot of knowledgeable people on the board.

i dont see a problem with this.. i go one step futher and put the 17 in front. because its still RWD-based at higher MPH for handling.

I did 17's fronts and 18's rear for about 3 weeks. But then again i'm staggered tires anyways. Feels different but i dont have any ILL effects from it. I think i did it last spring before my front tires came in.

You wont find too many people on this board with experience running stag on a AWD.

Cool, thanks. Before I bought my spare, I researched to make sure that as long as the overall tire diameter is the same, I should be good. Not too many X's of us on the board.

Did you change to your winters yet? I'm still riding on my summers but it looks like it's going to be consistently cooler now.

Won't be doing much driving since I just finished getting laid off

Planning on polishing them. But just wanted to be sure just incase I have to make a quick ride to the corner or so.
