Will the front coupe 19s clear BBKs on a sedan? I need to roll on one for a day while I get my front passenger rim repaired, it's got a small crack on the inside of the barrel and my spare won't clear my Wilwoods even with a 15mm spacer, fml.

Word of warning on the endlinks. I bought a set of fronts and sold them after 5 months. I couldn't get them to quit popping and cracking even though I adjusted them multiple times. Spoke to Kuah at the shop, it's here in Austin and he had no answer for me on how to stop the noise except "keep adjusting them, they shouldn't make noise". I'm now looking at another set of stockers or maybe the Whitelines.

Did you have the SPL?

Because I replaced mine with the SPL and I still hear noise

Yep sorry, I was talking about the SPLs. I've seen a number of posts about Driver members becoming grumpy that the endlinks make so much noise. I love their other parts though, the front A arms are the shizz. Don't make a peep.

Alright I am sitting in the back seat as I type this, I found the issue and its extremely easy to fix this.

Both my windows do this, only one you can hear while driving. And since a few people say they have the same issue, I am guessing this is a pretty common issue.

I dont know if you can see but where the tape is at, there is a seal/gasket/w/e running around the small window. It appears that the whole part from the top corner to the bottom corner appears to leak air on both windows.

This part is pretty damn easy to just peal back when I get back home on sunday Ill put up a quick DIY. Some simple hotglue should fix this easy.

I tried looking at inifinit parts to see if I could find the part, but could not locate it. But seeing as so many people probably have this issue, its only some time until it happens again with the replacement part.

You guys can test if this is the same issue as you are having my simply putting some tape to press on this trim piece. Probably going to need a bit more then what I put on, but just what I put up knocked down the wind noise a lot.

(btw its so weird sitting in the back seat of your car)

I have Powergrid endlinks, they made a noticeable difference over OEM and they don't make any noises.

+1 for Powergrid... I've had 'em for a few years - track, spirited street and normal driving; no problems.

They are recommended.

Does anyone know a rough estimate of how much a typical exhaust shop would charge to make/install piping from the y back to the muffler (provided) would run?

Just trying to figure out if I should just buy cat back or buy a muffler and have a shop make the rest

Depends on the shop ultimately but i would say no higher than $350. When i did my exhaust i was quoted 350 including muffler and now pipe up to the mid pipe. If i chose to do a true dual exhaust it was $750.

For the love of god are you really trying to cheap out on the MEGAN??? That exhaust is like $350 which is like the same you'd pay at an exhaust shop.

Neil and I are shaking our heads right now. Just buy the damn megan and quit trying to save a few pennies. The Megan will sound 8000X better.

No I am not really trying to cheap out on the megan. If I could save a little money, while also creating potentially something that no one else has would I do it, Yes. Sorry if me wanting to ask a "random" little question about what an exhaust shop might charge to bend some piping is against your idea of not wanting to spend money on something you don't know how it sounds. And you don't know the megan will sound 8000k better Janik, I'm just saying.

I will probably end up going the MEGAN route, but I also think it would be cool to be able to say, oh I designed/put together the exhaust, not oh it's just MEGAN racing.

But anyways, if it would cost 350 with the muffler at a shop I might look into it a little more seriously.

It would be nice to just bolt on some exhaust, but I am just researching options here.
